The aim of the REPHATER project is the development of a water treatment pilot plant based on the sequential combination of two innovative prototypes of existing technologies: electrocoagulation and electrooxidation. The plant will also include a recovery/recycling phosphate unit in an eco-innovative integrated approach never considered before.
The novel prototypes developed by the consortium members will improve existing EC/EO methodologies, bringing eco-effective solutions to the market, for application in different industrial sectors. The recovery of phosphate from residual waste, will increase its environmental credentials allowing the recovery of valuable phosphate for different agricultural and industrial applications.
