Abstract: A Belgian Flemish SME specialized in PE plastics rotation moulding and currently active in the waste water treatment industry and diesel tank production, is looking to broaden its product offer. The SME is looking for new technologies in the field of the waste water industry such as biorotors, filter beds…. The company is looking for licensing agreement and/or co development.
5th EWA Brussels Conference “European Water Management and the Implementation of the EU Floods Directive”
On 6th of November 2009 in Brussels will take place the European Water Association’s annual conference: “European Water Management and the Implementation of the Floods Directive”.
This year’s goal is to explore further the implementation of sustainable water management and the Water Framework Directive by discussing the aspects of flood protection and implementation of flood policies. The conference, organised in cooperation with the European Commission, will include a keynote address by Dr Fritz Holzwarth, contributions from experts in the field and will end with a Panel Discussion with all speakers participating.
The 5th EWA Brussels conference will bring people closer to the aspects of flood policy associated with the Water Framework Directive.
Barcelona Tech Summer Sessions
Durante los meses de Junio y Julio de 2009 se celebrarán en Barcelona varias sesiones estratégicas, técnicas y académicas que analizan los sectores de la energía, el agua y la mobilidad.
Este año, se llevará a cabo la IV edición de esta actividad organizada por la fundación b_TEC conjuntamente con el Massachusetts Institute of Technology, la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya y la Universitat de Barcelona.
Spanish & Dutch Innovation Water Event
Los próximos 3, 4 y 5 de junio se celebra en valencia un brokerage event organizado por CDTI, entre otras instituciones. Este evento ofrece a empresas e instituciones de investigación, la oportunidad de encontrarse con socios potenciales para la cooperación en el ámbito de las tecnologías del agua. En concreto, el acto se centrará en las siguientes áreas:
- Nuevas tecnologías para la desalinización
- Agua en la industria
- Agua y eficiencia energética en la agricultura
La CE hace difusión de REPHATER, uno de los proyectos liderados por Leitat
La Comisión ha publicado recientemente un catálogo de proyectos financiados en 2008 por el programa Eco-Innovation, dentro del Competitiveness & Innovation Programme de la UE.
Leitat forma parte de este catálogo gracias al proyecto REPHATER coordinado por el Centro, que trata sobre plantas de tratamiento de aguas. (Ver página 25 de la publicación)
