
The Technological Center Leitat and the Guild of Cinteros signed on February 2nd, a collaboration agreement to promote knowledge transfer and innovation drawing on each of the entities. The agreement was signed by Blanca Cabré, the Guild’s president, and Albert Matarrodona, executive director of Leitat.
This joint program provides several strategic lines of action passing through promoting and contributing to the dissemination of common goals between the two entities, defining projects resulting in improved competitiveness for both parties, to boost research and technological development in those areas of common interest, enhance mutual exchange of information, which will result in better development of initiatives managed by the two institutions, and assist in obtaining public funding resources for the implementation of related projects R & D and innovation and all activities of common interest.
Also, to improve collaboration, to enhance these joint activities and carrying out the objectives described above, a monitoring committee will be established, consisting of one representative from each of the institutions. This committee, which will meet quarterly, is the responsible organ for monitoring the actions taken and evaluate their results.
