The Technological Center Leitat participates with the Ministry of Industry and Information Society of Castilla-La Mancha in the project REDIN; for the promotion of innovation and stable networking technology cooperation.

The initiative is part of Interreg IVB Sudoe, a program of Southwestern European territorial cooperation, in which Catalonia, Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Lisbon, Northern Portugal, Portugal Center and the French region of Aquitaine participate.

The purpose of REDIN is to establish a methodology applicable to different sectors in structuring a joint process of technological transfer, as well as to create a stable network that will help to create synergies between different sectors such as plastics, footwear, textiles, biotechnology, information technology and communication, aviation and metalworking.

The project is currently in phase 3, which has already produced a map of innovation on each of the participating regions to determine the existence of complementarities between sectors and territories. Moreover, it has also made a diagnosis, to clarify and define the innovation systems of companies in each region and sector to be treated. This information will be held starting the design of the innovation network considering the structure, agents, roles and support mechanism for it.
