The Technological Center´s bet to increase the competitiveness of the Catalan textile business is unquestionable; a good example of this is the proposed project Innoempresa Supra regional RETO (CHALLENGE).

The RETO project has aimed to provide textile companies of the participating regions (Catalonia and Castile la Mancha) diagnostic technology that can enable a strategic reorientation to adapt to the changing conditions and needs of the market.

This is the third year this initiative takes place, and during all the revisions has advised more than 30 companies and has been disseminating the benefits of corporate strategic reorientation towards technical textiles and high added value.

In view of 2010 Leitat continues to provide knowledge to companies and open the doors of the RETO project to other sectors with reorientation needs such as the automotive, metal or plastic to improve the positioning of companies in the market.
